Hi everyone

Brooke and Kimball have been so busy catchin up since they got back that I havent been able to blog in SUCH A LONG TIME!!!! I have been so sick with abby! I know this is the hardest part of being a mommy but i know its going to be worth it. I have "New Moon" to keep me company anyways so when i get sick of TV I can always turn to Edward :). I think I should be done with it seriously soon. Update on Kimball. He got a job working with his Dad and I am so porud of how hard he works for our family. I know we may not be able to get everything I want right now but I am supporting Kim because I know he is doing the right thing for our family. Plus i dont really need a Tahoe until Abby gets here anyways ;).

I feel bad that I missed telling everyone how proud I am to be an American last week. I can still remember the day the Twin Towers were attacked like it was yesterday. I remember i was doing my hair for school and my Dad came in and told mom and me "Our country is under attack." After that day my life changed. I was no longer not greatful to be an American. I hope you think about how great our coutnry is in comparison to all other countries and be proud that you live here. We are blesed. I think a good way to show how greatful you are to be in this country is to get an American flag for your car bumper. They do not cost a lot but they show so much. I promise i will start blogging more seriously!!

Update!

So...I promised to get everyone up to date so here it goes! Its been a way long time since i last wrote a blog and I feel like I am doing it for the first time again :) Anyways so Brooke and Kimball are back in Utah. Home sweet home! As it turned out KImball didnt end up making as much money as we expected him to and he actually had to come home early. We were BOTH so SICK of seattle and homesick anyways that it was actually a huge blessing and Kim's boss Travis actually payed for the gas money for us to get back. The only sadc thing is that we aren't going to be able to buy the jacked up Silverado that Kimball has had his eyes on but we still have my cute Eclipse and the Blazer Kim's parents gave him for our wedding. Also neither of us has a job LOL but I think Kimball will work for his dad and Brooke might babysit a couple times a week. I think that will hold our house payments in Herriman until next summer when we try again because Travis said that usually its the second summer where people make real money. Anyways were so glad to be back home and thank everyone for their support and concern. We couldn't do it without you guys :)

PS I started reading "NEW MOON" which is the second book in the "Twilight series" on Sunday and I'm seriously dying to finish it. I think after the first couple of chapters I alredy like it more than "Twilight"!!!! Do NOT spoil it for me!!!!!!!

Lake Powell

Kimball spent the afternoon figuring out how to get our pictures from his camera to our comuter. So I thought it would be fun to show some pictures from our adventure to Lake Powell with the Johnson family in April! Here are some pics I hope you have as much fun looking at them as we did taking them :)

this is after Brooke got a hang of how to water ski. I had a blast!

This is kimball on wake board. He is so good.
Just the two of us on the beach. Kimball looks so cute.

This is Kimballs parent's boat. Lake Powell is GORGEOUS!

Well I hope that gives you a feel of what our vacation was like. If you want to go on a fun trip i really reccommend Lake Powell!!!

Can't wait :)

So good

One thing I have loved about living in Seattle is all the YUMMY food ( even though I miss the salads at Cafe rio!) For example Kimball and me went out last Saturday to c elebrate all the sales hes made. Bryce his manager says he's good enough to be a manager next summer!! Anyways we went to Macaroni Grill and I know we have one in Utah but I think the one we went to here is even yummier. If you can believe it! The waiter was so nice because Kimball doesn't eat vegetables ( he calls them "rabbit food!" ) so instead of a salad he got a discount on fried cheese instead. Plus they put extra sauce and cheese on my fettucini alfredo. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. :) :) :)

Another really good restaraunt we have tried here is called Chipolte. They make seriously such good burittos. I AM OBSESSED!!!! If you ever get a chance to eat at this place you have to. I promise you will like it almost as much as Cafe Rio.

Makeover!

You might notice that we have made some changes to our blog. I spent all day doing this with a LOT of help. I would like to thank Mal for her support on this big project! Now that I have my own blog i have been looking a lot more at other blogs and noticed how cute they are and I wanted the same! So here it is! Tell me what you think.

PS I'm almost done with "TWILIGHT!" If I can put my mind too it I think I will be able to finish it by Sunday and then I cant wait to read the rest of the books.

Totally un-fair

Im sorry I have to do this. When I started this blog I did not mean any harm. This is suppose to be a space for us to share our live's experiences with our friends and family so that I can tell every one what is going on in me and Kim's life. So I think it is very un-fair for someone i dont even know to just come on to this and write a message against me. I have always believed that every one should have a place where they can go and feel safe and I think its the same for the internet. But now I am starting to think differently because I have been attacked.... I am way too happy to let someone who is jealous of my life hurt me or my family. If you have a mean message to say to me please do it to my face because I doubt you have the guts. We must all face challenges and I am strong enough to do it to you here and now it is your duty to do the same or you are a coward and I mean that. If you have some problems with my faith or my interests seriously just get a life and go try to tear someone else down. My friend Mandi sent me this quote from the book "NEW MOON" I want to read and I think it fits my life right now. "Time passes, even when it seems impossible" is the quote and I think it really applies to me right now. I know I will make it through this because I am stronger than those who choose to hurt me.

******Confession****

Sorry i haven't blogged much this week.....I have a confession to make! I have been holding off for a really long time and I said I would never do it but I'm..................... reading a book. "TWILIGHT!!!!" Mandi told me I had to read it and I said I wouldnt read another book after high school because they always end up making a better movie out of them anyways but I trusted her. AND I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!!! I have read this book nonstop for the last four days ( finally something to do ) and I am almost half way through it! I have never read a book this fast before but its soo sooo good. Sorry Kimball but i think I have a new crush on someone and his name is EDWARD CULLEN. hahahaha I'll keep everyone updated and I really reccommend this to any one even if you don't like reading. Mandi told me this is just the first book so I have a lot to read!

So true and intresting

This is so true and intresting. It just proves that if you don't have enough faith you probably will die. I'm just so happy that I was raised in a home where I wouldn't become a person that this would happen to.

DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS?
I SURE DIDN'T TILL NOW
Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!
Make a personal reflection about this.....
Very interesting, read until the end.....
It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: For whatsoever a man sow, That shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women Who mocked God :
John Lennon (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said: 'Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about That. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him' (1966)
Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), While smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:'God, that's for you.'
He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said: 'Not even God can sink it'
The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: 'I don't need your Jesus'.
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment

Bon Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: 'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell'.

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

Campinas (IN 2005)

In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend..... The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: 'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.'
She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here.....It's Already Full '

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died. The car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)

Said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.
In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

'Jesus'

PS: If it was a joke, you would have sent it to everyone.
So are you going to have courage to send this?.

I have done my part, Jesus said.

'If you are embarrassed about me,I will also be embarrassed about you before my father'

Smile (:

We went and saw "Kungfu Panda" last night. It was really cute and funny and I'm happy I didn't have to worry about any bad content for once! Then Kimball took me to Chili's and we got my favorites: southwest eggrolls and I got a really nummy crispy chicken salda. It was a lot of fun and a real change from how bored i've been with NOTHING to do. My mom sent me this video and I thought it was HILLARIOUS. Have you seen it?

Almost forgot

"Happy Pioneer Day" to all you Utahns! Although we are living in Washington (STATE) we're still celebrating. I am missing the parades and fireworks! To celebrate Im going to prepare something that both Kimball and me miss: CAFE RIO!!!!! I found this receipe that I'm going to share with you all. I found it on the internet.

P.S. if you can find a good recipe for Pizza Hut crust I will love you FOREVER :)

Café Rio Dressing
1 buttermilk ranch dressing packet (make as per recipe)
2 tomatillos (tomato like vegetable with a husk around them)
½ bunch of cilantro
1 clove garlic
Juice of 1 lime
1 jalapeño (Use the seeds too if you like it spicy. You could substitute a few drops of green tobasco for the jalapeno.)

Use a food processor to blend all the ingredients well. Refrigerate.

Cafe Rio Chicken

1 small bottle Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
1 T chili powder
1 T cumin
3 cloves garlic—minced
5 lbs chicken breast

Cook all together in a crock pot for 4 hours, shred meat and cook 1 additional hour.

(Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing has 2 grams of sugar per serving. I try to avoid dressings with sugar, but this is a very small amount. You're only using 8 ounces of the dressing per 5 pounds of chicken if you follow this recipe, so it should be fine, even for South Beach Dieters.)

Café Rio Rice

3 c water
4 t chicken bouillon
4 t garlic –minced
½ bunch cilantro
1 can green chiles—or equivalent fresh
¾ t salt
1 T butter
½ onion
3 c rice (see note)

Blend cilantro, green chiles and onion together in food processor. Bring water to a boil and add all ingredients, simmer covered 30 minutes.

Hello world!

Okay, we did it! I know I'm way behind everybody on this whole "bloging" thing but I promise I'm going to keep everybody updated now!!!! I have to thank Mallorie who was way ahead of us and started her blog in Febuary (she does EVERYTHING first!! Mal your such a nerd ;) j/k luv ya).

So... a little about our family to update everyone who doesn't already know. Kimball and me met last June when he asked me out. I was way excited because I promise I had a crush on him at least for a month before that. I was so happy too. Anyways our first date was a lot of fun but I knew he was the one when on our second date he took us to Cold Stone (my fave) and we BOTH ordered cake batter flavored ice cream. We dated seriously until October when we really started talking about the future. Kimball had just decided to stop school for a little while and all though he had recently quit his job with hid Dad he had been talking to a friend about a great job he would be able to do over the summer. So it seemed like the perfect time to start a family and I guess you could say the rest is history! (: Kim proposed in November after a way romantic evening (he took me to my favorite... TEXAS R-O-A-D-H-OU-S-E!! and then we saw "Enchanted" (my fourth time ha ha) and then he proposed in his parent's front yard. I felt so bad about his wet knees in the snow!!!!) We got married in January on 1/8/08 and have been LOVING married life. I'm so happy to be finally married because I graduated in 2006 and have felt like such a looser since all my best girlfriends have gotten married. Every time I hung around them and their cute hubbies I felt like a total lesbian or thought that everyone thought i was going to be an old maid or a slut ha ha ha

So anyways Kimball started working for APX Alarm in May and so far he is loving it! We had to move to Seatle for the summer which has been really hard but its okay. Kimball works 8 or ten hours days and I'm so proud of him. He goes door to door and sells alarms and he's going to make us a TON of money. I really love and appreciate him because he is working so we can have nice things. I'm thankful for him everyday. I promise that I am so bored though. We are in within walking distance of a great mall and some restaraunts but I have seriously NO MONEY so I just sit at the apartment ALL DAY. I can't think of ANY THING to do which explains our new blog I bet! Fortunately all of the other salesmens wives are really cute and we go to the pool or talk on the phone. Without them I would go crazy! Anyways I'm sorry my first blog was so long but I'll keep everyone updated on our crazy adventures.

I hope you are all safe and know how much we love and miss you! When Kimball gets his paycheck in September we are taking you ALL out to eat! Where should we go!
